The audience had nearly filled up the tent, and outside people were lounging on the soft furniture that was set up for the festival – some sleeping, some talking and some listening attentively to the band.

Relaxed setting
The audience, a mix of mostly young people, with a few exceptions from the music industry, did not seem to be familiar with the lyrics. Nevertheless, they looked as if they wanted to be. Some were stomping their feet and nodding their heads, despite the obvious relaxed setting, showing that they wanted to be a part of the experience. Others took part in the experience with closed eyes and smiles on their faces, enjoying the nice weather.

“Pretty good”
Journalist Henning Furbach from the German music magazine Piranha had not seen them before, yet thought they were “pretty good.” His other plans for the day were to watch the Deportees later. He also want to see Kiss Kiss Kiss on Saturday, although it would be difficult considering that they are playing the same time as the Champion’s League soccer game he also wants to watch.

In the audience, Djanna Vallespir, a sweet Dane, thought the band was easily accessible and “pleasantly melodious.” Not too shabby for one of the first concerts of the day.
