Meijerink reveals that Gunnar Madsen, the leader of the SPOT Festival, modelled SPOT after Eurosonic 20 years ago.

- It’s good that there is a festival to showcase upcoming artists in this country. It works like a mirror. You can always learn from each other.

Thoughts for the future
When asking Meijerink if anything is missing at the SPOT Festival, he says he cannot think of anything. And yet:
