Black City is punk rock in English from the streets of Copenhagen. For a long time it was Bjørn Poulsen’s solo project, but it became an actual band in 2009 when the singer was approached by Universal Music. Together with guitarist Kristian Klærke he selected the right line-up, and after negotiating for six months they signed a deal with the giant record company. In January 2010 they started working on the debut, which is due for release later this year.
