The reference to the controversial 60s rockabilly icon Vince Taylor is neither accidental nor misleading. The love of rock’n’roll is given free rein in Black Leather Machine, where bongo drums, a harmonica and a transverse flute conjure up a psychedelic atmosphere around the occasionally Jim Morrison-inspired vocals. With club king Kenneth Bager and pop producer Thomas Troelsen to back them up, they are working on the album debut “Rock’n’Roll Dancer”.
