In 2001 the singer Billie Koppel and multi instrumentalist Frank Hasselstrøm formed the alternative pop phenomenon Catbird. The sound is mild, gentle and acoustic. Occasionally electric. Billie is the daughter of Danish legends Thomas Koppel and Annisette, and even before her first release she was front-page material and was labeled the Danish equivalent of Björk. The band has released two albums, both of which got great reviews.
