Among the reasons stated was that Nanna Odderskær is “a brilliant front girl whose luscious and sensuous voice fits like maple syrup for pancakes.” The band combines cool synth-based minimalism with a measured and disciplined rock foundation that evokes associations to Peter Gabriel, Elastica or The Cardigans in their “Gran Turismo” period.
