All the members of Dødning have a past in various hardcore and rock’n’roll bands. In 2006 they hooked up around their mutual love for sludge, stoner rock and metal of the heaviest kind, and the result is Dødning: a solid mix of Down, Eyehategod and Raging Speed Horn – the recipe for a dish Dødning calls Confederate metal. Last year Dødning recorded their debut album with Jacob Bredahl as the producer. It will be released in 2010.
