Old-school thrash metal like the one that flows from Slayer and Testament. From dark Aalborg comes the uncompromising and ambitious metal band Essence with a sound that is indeed the essence of thrash metal. In 2007 they personally financed the release of the EP that has now made them a name that both the critics and the metal fans reckon with. The band is notorious for its live perfectionism and has played with some of the biggest metal acts.
