The country singer from Mid Jutland Esther Maria used to be part of the jazz scene, but after ten years she is moving in a new direction. Now she mixes American country with classic rock and is compared to artists like PJ Harvey. The debut EP “My Black Heart” was released in 2009 and the band that includes people from the Peter Sommer and Superjeg camps will soon be put to the test: A tour in the US and Canada is in the offing.
