In 2007 the Swedish sisters in First Aid Kit sent their first track recorded at home to Swedish radio in the hope of catching their attention. The track was immediately playlisted and was dubbed “one of the best songs of the summer of 2007”. In January this year they made their album debut with “The Big Black and the Blue” where the two sisters demonstrate their predilection for the American folk tradition with focus on acoustic guitars and great tunes.
