In their home country FM Belfast from Reykjavik have bridged the gap between electronica and indie. Their sound has a touch of chiptune, and with “Lotus”, their original interpretation of RATM’s “Killing in the Name Of”, they have created a pub hit in the Icelandic capital. They became a name in 2006 when they played at the Iceland Airwaves Festival, and in 2008 the eight-strong band recorded their debut in studios in Reykjavik and New York.
