The music is incredibly acoustic, when 20-year-old Johann Kristinsson plays his semi-electronic folk pop. He is an artist that likes to experiment, and he doesn’t shy away from trying out new instruments. The result is haunting and atmospheric indie with English vocals. On the album “Call Jimmy” he manages to bring together everything from a harmonium and a xylophone to synthesizers and a cello. The critics called the gentle debut “a quiet classic”.
