Aarhus band Mimas has championed their alternative, trumpet-driven indie-math pop in Germany, France England and Spain. In Denmark they have played at Roskilde and Recession. Their music has a touch of jazz and the melancholy vocals are at times assisted by a hard-hitting shout chorus. The band has existed since 2004 and they have an EP and to albums to their name, the latter of which has just been completed and will be released in 2010.
