Pål Moddi Knutsen originates from the island Senja in the northernmost part of Norway. According to the singer-songwriter he creates his music on his mother’s old accordion, a stolen Russian mandolin and a blue guitar with two broken strings. According to the critics the result is “a subdued and intense acoustic guitar with smoldering strings and a haunting, Norwegian accent that catches the ear like a UFO catches a tractor.
