The record labels fought tooth and nail to sign The Kandidates, who eventually decided on Napalm Records, which also released lead singer Jacob Bredahl’s previous project Hatesphere. Their uncompromising blend of crust, punk, hardcore metal and death is the weapon with which they are going to conquer the European metal scene. In 2007 the band played at Roskilde under the name The Downward Candidate.
