Definitely progressive, hardcore metal. Belgian The Link is not easy listening, but with the versatile vocals, they actually appeal to non-metallers too. The band started out in 2007 with the ambition to create a hardcore sound with pure, spine-shaking energy on the Belgian underground scene. The link’s music calls for headbanging and psychophysical metallic ecstasy and is inspired by bands such as The Dillinger Escape Plan, Tool and Underoath.
