Copenhagen-based The Olympics, who actually have roots in Jutland, came about in the light of non-western music’s entry on New York’s alternative scene. They are a sparkling pop outfit who have released the EP “Adventure Pop” and are currently negotiating concerning the release of their debut album. They play cool and catchy indie pop and find their inspiration among people like David Bowie and Talking Heads.
