Countrysangeren fra Midtjylland. Esther Maria har tidligere slået sine folder på jazzscenen, men efter ti år har hun skiftet stil. I stedet blander hun den amerikanske landbomusik med klassisk rock, og bliver nu sammenlignet med folk som PJ Harvey. Debut-ep’en ”My Black Heart” udkom i 2009, og bandet, der tæller folk fra Peter Sommer- og Superjeg-lejrene, skal snart stå deres countryprøve: Der venter en tour i USA og Canada.
